ACE DuraFlo Announces ePIPE—A Patented Repiping Alternative

New "in-place" pipe restoration technology is fast, cost-effective, clean and quiet—Does not destroy expensive floors, walls, ceilings and foundations as is typical with other piping techniques

ePIPE is a patented, "in-place" epoxy-based pipe restoration technology
(HIT) - ACE DuraFlo Systems LLC (www.aceduraflo.com), the industry leader in the development and application of pipe restoration technology, today announced their ePIPE system. ePIPE is a patented, "in-place" epoxy-based pipe restoration technology that restores failing copper and encrusted galvanized pipes to like-new condition without the extensive demolition that accompanies traditional plumbing methods. Ideal for home owners and businesses who cannot afford the downtime associated with extensive renovations, or those with expensive (or hard to find and replace) custom floors, ePIPE renews all plumbing to International Plumbing Code® (IPC) and International Residential Code® (IRC) standards. In addition, the process is completely dustless and can often be completed in as few as three to four days from start to finish, with little disruption.

"Even in a slow real estate market, a home or building is still your largest asset and it makes sense to protect your investment," explains Al Dee, president of ACE DuraFlo Systems. "Just as good health keeps your arteries from hardening which can lead to a heart attack, the same holds true with the circulatory system of your home or building. Without proper care, massive damage can result. Our ePIPE technology protects and renews without mess or inconvenience and adds guaranteed years of life to your pipes."

The Problem

Even new homes and offices can show signs of corrosive wear in as few as two years after installation – even with the highest quality of water. In addition, the average home in the United States is 25-years old and are (or will be) soon experiencing problems with their piping systems. Early warning signs include contamination (brown or discolored water), mineral deposits, low water flow, encrustation, corrosion and pinhole leaks. Even a small leak can lead to extensive damage of walls, floors, windows, doors and much more. Plumbers, contractors, and consumers can easily use Ace DuraFlo’s ePIPE as a way to fix damage, or better yet, to prevent leaks from occurring, without having to move or experience living through demolition and repair stages.

The Solution

ACE DuraFlo’s patented ePIPE system restores piping systems to like-new condition in three easy steps
ACE DuraFlo’s patented ePIPE system restores piping systems to like-new condition in three easy steps:

1. Air drying – air hoses are connected to the piping system. The isolated system is then dried with preheated, filtered air.

2. Cleaning – the dried pipes are cleaned using an air and abrasive mixture that prepares the inside surface of the pipes for proper bonding of the epoxy.

3. Epoxy coating – the final stage of the ePIPE process is the application of the epoxy lining to the system. This seals and protects the piping system from future corrosion.
